Is a complete software on the Catalan version of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD9) for the 7th edition (Nov-2009), in the three areas are covered:
Points:
1. Has been developed in collaboration with the CatSalut (Catalan Health Service) and TermCat (Catalan Terminology Center).
2. Suitable for:
a. Help you to locate the correct code, through the program or in web browser format that is derived:
a. Clinical use at the hospital or outpatient. Possibility to export the tables (MySQL) used directly or through format TSV , so easily be integrated into other programs or computer systems of entities providing health services.
b. Epidemiological use of medical procedures used, etc.. With the logic correspond to the tasks of the health manegement.
b. Homogenize the presentation of codes, inclusion terms, exclusion instructions, etc., for all the ICD.
c. Teaching, because it has a tree to the functioning of ICD, with the possibility of additional annotations to resolve the doubts in the selection of a code (as well as standardize the diagnostic criteria).
3. Makes:
a. Search records: the code or its content. Offers language services to pass the words to singular or to research from another language.
b. Additional information and exclusion: for each of the codes.
c. Edit: change or extension of number of codes.
4. Automatic creation of the index with the search words, from various fields and content aggregators (standard or custom) and taking into account whether the words are plural, eliminating unnecessary words, etc.
5. It is designed for three different levels of code management. Has a facility annotation system for proposition or modification, for networking or in one place. It can be a dialogue bridge between the documentary of the coding and practitioner.
Additional software available for import to the tables (emptied of all data) contained in documents converted to web pages.
